Description
At Potton Press we make a range of award-winning ciders and perries using traditional methods. We only ever use the pure juice of freshly pressed local apples and pears. We pick fruit from our own orchard together with a range of different apples and pears from nearby orchards in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

24/8/2023. From BIAB at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear orange copper with minimal head. Aroma is medium sweet apple, very fruity, funky, caramel, horseblanket. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Medium body, low carbonation. Dry, tannic, fruity finish. Very nice.

24/8/2023. From BIAB at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours almost clear pale orange with minimal head. Aroma is sweet, musty apple, lightly funky, horseblanket. Medium plus sweetness, light tartness. Medium body, very soft carbonation. Quite enjoyable.

BIAB sample courtesy of Grumbo from Peterborough beer festival 2019, cheers Graham! Golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of light fleshy apple. Taste is tart, slightly solventy, apple, drying, fleshy, citric hint, with some light acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry boozy finish. Quite OK

23/8/2019. From bag in a box at the 42nd Peterborough Beer & Cider Festival. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow gold with minimal head. Aroma of light tart apples, citrus, green apples and caramel. Moderate sweetness, tartness and body. Slight oily texture, flat carbonation. Light tart and dry finish.

Bag in a box at Cambridge Winter Beer Fest: Poured a golden with white head. Aroma was musty pungent apples. Taste was sweet apples with a very sugary finish.

BIAB at Cambridge Winter Beer Festival 2018. Pale yellow colour, afew bubbles on top and oily, sack cloth aroma. Taste is sweetish with mellow apple, juicy notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet finish. OK

Gravity dispense (bag-in-box) @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Potton Press Sweet Spot Cider (Sweet)].ABV: 8.2%. Clear medium to dark orange yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, sweet sweet apple, apples, apple gin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, sweet apple, fresh, red apples. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20120809] 6-2-7-3-14

Cask at the 35th Luton Beer and Cider Festival. Pours hazy pale dull yellow with a small off white head. Aroma of toffee, apple and clove. Light sweetness, medium bitterness and sour.
