330ml bottle from Sainsburys. It’s been summed up 100% accurately below. Easy, unrewarding drinking straight from the fridge but, as the bottle warmed up, the maize sweetness and tired hops started to annoy. Not a beer I would rush to drink again.

bottle 33cl bot in carrefour, las palmas, gran canaria. clear yellow, small white head. aroma of honey, corn, sort of reminds me of a mild belgian blonde without the spices. flavor is caramel, toffee, skunky. overall too much toffee caramel for me.

Bottle 33cl: golden yellow with a large white head but it dissapears in a few seconds. Poor aroma and flavour. A beer that you can drink if the day is hot.

Bottle, Vinea, Liverpool. Purchased for sheer novelty value and expectations were low. Grainy, a touch of malt. Watery, with a nasty chemical tinged finish. A very average and boring lager which could really be from anywhere. Not as bad as Fosters or Bud though.

12 oz bottle - Cerveza Cristal Beer on front; Premium Cristal Beer on back; 5%. Light golden color with a fine white head. Light aromas of grassy hop and pale malt. A bit thin bodied with fizzy carbonation. Seems to have noble hop, a touch of lemon, and a bit of grain for flavor. Finish is a bit sharp, and not very bitter. Ok pale lager.

[330ml bottle from Asda High Wycombe] 28/12/2007: Rather nice packaging - we’ve taken to calling it Peruvian Goldtop. Surprisingly deep amber for a lager, reminds me very much of Fosters. Otherwise just another average world lager really... nothing bad here, refreshing enough cold, but also nothing to make it stand out. This is one for the Budweiser crowd do drink and boast of their "exotic" tastes, without having strayed out of their comfort zone. Boring. 20/6/2008 re-rate: Enjoyed this much more on a second taste - perhaps I wasn’t in the mood the first time. A nice soft mouthfeel, strong taste of honey with grassy hops in the aftertaste. Ratings given are average of two tastes.

33cl bottle on Virgin train from Euston to Liverpool. Gold, lasting off white head. Not unpleasant lager aroma, some hop on there. Slightly creamy in mouth. Very acceptable lager. Good hop sting on finish. Would drink that again.

Labeled as Cristal, Beer from the Andes. Pours with a large, rocky, white head covering a clear, pale yellow body. Aroma of overipened apples, grass and sweet corn. Sour bread, grass, and watery taste. Refreshing but not good. Fizzy and thin mouthfeel.
