Pounder can for almost 4 bucks at chalet in north lima. A little over the usual price I usually pay. But I must say, after drinking this; it was worth it! Pour is maybe a little lighter than most fest brews, it lacks that light brown tint. Nice clean looking silky head about an inch that fades to, and holds at 1/2 inch. Maybe just a tad of that approachable marzen nose, a mix of sweet toasted bread, roasted grain, warm pretzels, just barely. Flavor is unexpectedly light; friendly and easy, good co2, can't find any negative effects on the commencement. Seriously, its so well behaved and I can't find any negative characters, that I find in other domestic fest beers. Maybe because the alky content is a point or two below most fest beers? Not sure. Smooth, kind, affable, amiable, cordial, and genial. Yep, I'm gonnah say this is right up there with some of the best fests I've had like Climax Hoffman, Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest, Voodoo Brewing James Brown and Holy Moley Oktoberfest. Nice job KCBC!

Pint can. Tart cherry aroma with notes of raspberry, yuzu, floral and lacto. Pours reddish-pink with a finger of white head that has little retention and decent lacing. Starts with tart cherry, yuzu and floral flavors as well as having a lively mouthfeel. Finishes tart and dry with raspberry and lacto flavors. Good sour.

Fruity notes of pineapple and red grapefruit, tangelo, slight peachy accents, soft sweetish pale malts, balanced light bitter hoppy finish. Decent.

From Beer Drop, canned February 4th 2026.
Pours a dark reddish brown with a small off white head of foam. Excellent lacing and retention.
Smell is smokey, burnt malt, char, a pleasure to whiff on if you're a fan of the style.
Taste is smokey, char, burnt malt, some bitter notes, pleasing during the entire session. I dig Perle hops.
Good medium mouthfeel, I would drink this again and I can because I have another can.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits an opaque gold colored body that has thin copper hues and supports a full near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up bits of mango, cantaloupe, pineapple and melon rind. The taste delivers modest tropical hop flavor amidst thin rings of hop bitterness. It gets a tad chewy to midway. This was wrongly listed on untape as a non hazy ipa. sad.

Draught at Haymaker: pours yellow with white head. Aroma is rye bread or something. Lightly bitter and bready. Did not think that this was that good.
