14/10/16 at PoW Beer Fest, Farnborough. Not the most appealing aroma - sewagey. Amber. No head. Flat. Medium bitter, sharp. More so in the chalky finish. Citrus, vinegar and malts. Not keen on this.

Fra fat på Greyhound i Derby 16 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Lys gyldengulbrun. Lavt tett kritthvitt skum. Lett metallisk fruktaroma. Smaken halvdøde plommer. Lite annet. Det metalliske preget er gjennomgående.

Half-pint, guest cask ale at The Greyhound. Shared with Finn. Patchy off-white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Clear golden body. Grainy nose with hints of dried fruits. Bread and plums to the taste buds. Malt-fruity bitter endnotes. Average stuff (Derby 16.02.2016).

9th April 2015: gravity pour at the Isle of Man CAMRA beer festival. Bland and strange, amber in colour with a wispy white top. Didn’t get the veg and cat food aromas (luckily) others have mentioned, but I did not take to what smells and flavours it did have. Mild malt taste with a mini-sweetness throughout, nothing else to report.

9th April 2015: gravity pour at the Isle of Man CAMRA beer festival. Pale golden brew with a white topping. I thought this a bit bland, a blend of hops and malts without a doubt, but nothing interesting or strong, easily forgotten. Some fruity notes in the flavour along with a mild sweetness.

Cask half pint at The City Arms, Cardiff. Dark ruby colour, small beige head. Malty aroma, some mild roasty notes. Pleasant flavour of moderately roasted malts, some fruity notes too. A very drinkable dark mild! Would buy again.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Amber with a very small head. Has a malty character, more so in its nose although a very drinkable session texture despite its strength.

Bree Louise. Cask. Clear dark brown beer, no real head. Palate is light and semi dry. Toffee! Strong sweet toffee. Touch of dried fruits. Light dry finish with a malty toffee aftertaste. Fine if you like lots of toffee, reckon this would be too sweet for many.
