Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 1 07/08/2018. Aroma is charred woody, thatched cottage, baked hazelnuts. Flavour is composed of vanilla. Charred wood, nutty vmaill.. Plate is semi sweet, lowish carbonation, ok.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 1, 07/08/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is dusty fruits, hint of coffee, brown breads. Taste comprises dark malts, light spice, stewed fruits, brown bread, biscuit crumbs, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light dryness in the close. Decent mild ... good flavour profile for 3.6%.

ABV: 3.6%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, nutty, sweet malt, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, fruity malt, nutty, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180807]

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear deep red amber beer, good tan head. Smooth palate, soft, not much carbonation at all. Slighty earthy and sweestish cocoa malts. Touch of thin dry cream. Light finish. Okay.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Gloucester Beer Festival 27 April 2018. Medium brown in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Bready malts, some dark berries, a suggestion of toasty malts and gentle finish. Fine.
