Bottle from Hop Kettle brewery online shop, I think. Appearance - golden amber with a light haze and a proportionate white head. Nose - generally quite grainy, muesli and only a hint of citrus which is probably orange peel. Taste - muesli again and orange peel if you really search for it. Palate - light bodied, dryish finish. Overall - not one of their best efforts, or at least not in bottle. Positive ratings seem to be on cask.

Bottle from Hop Kettle online shop, I think? Appearance - deep golden with a proportionate white head. Nose - lemon, biscuit, light cararmel and grapefruit pith. Taste - citrus pith and zest. The caramel and biscuit are a little more pronounced so not as dry as the nose implies. Palate - light bodied, light hop and malt bitterness. Could be a little more bitter, mind. Overall - decent example of the style.

Bottle from Hop Kettle online shop. Appearance - deep brown to black with an attractive beige head. Nose - toffee, molasses and edge of blackcurrant. Taste - blackcurrant, molasses and caramel. Light smoke. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture. Light roast on the finish. Overall - very nice. Not a bitter style, more on the mild or dry stout side.
