Can to snifter. Purchased in early 11/2021 and consumed on 11/25/2021.
Appearance: ruddy dark amber close to brown with a finger's worth of soft tan foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and once it did left just a little bit of sly lace
Aroma: light hay/straw notes with some caramel/toffee malt then some toasted nuts, light tobacco/slightly earthy notes and maple syrup slide into the middle with a light vanilla coming in from under
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine malty sweet to earthy sweet quality with a light maple to vanilla to caramel blended sweet to add some intricacy to it; finishes combining all those notes I just said
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness but also some expected dryness
Overall: was so glad I had finally tried this awesome old ale from Mayflower and would definitely welcome it again.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown in the color and in the pour with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sly sweet earth, some toffee, sweet chocolate (somewhat milk-like, I think), light molasses and a touch of maple syrup
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet earthy to a sweet chocolate-y tone; finishes semi-sticky with the molasses and maple syrup
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but yes, this one got a bit sticky thus I must say yes this is cloying (maybe a bit too much maple syrup and molasses? yeah, I think so)
Overall: great aromas and flavors but try to smooth out that feel to make it so that this beer gets down my throat and not stuck to my tongue that would greatly be appreciated, Mayflower. Thanks.

Can to weizen glass.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow cloudy color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some clove, light banana tones, subtle bubblegum and sweet wheat
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to light spicy tone; finishes leaning into the clove, banana and a touch of sweet wheat
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness and more of a pop instead of a kick of the wheat to snap at the tongue; still decent carb to it
Overall: not a bad version of a hefeweizen from an American brewer and closer than many other American brewers so props to Mayflower for that.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: ruddy dark amber color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head which quickly dissipated and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: lots of dark fruits, caramelized sugar, light banana, some yeasty presence - kinda earthy and candy-ish; some dark malts - somewhat chocolatey
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a nice sweet vibe, finishes dark fruity and sugary
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper; some smoothness; light dryness
Overall: to me, I believe this misses the mark of a true Belgian quad, however there is something good here and was enjoyable to sip.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: black in color with a finger and a half's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasty coffee beans, cocoa powder, dark malts, then a nice level of red raspberry sweetness and tartness
Flavor: great blend of the prior noted aromas - sweet and an underlying tart from the raspberries; mild aftertaste of raspberries and coffee
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, semi-smooth, finishes smooth with a brush of tart
Overall: what a wonderfully done pastry porter, not overly done either way - very worthy of returning to.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark maroon to almost dark brown color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some mild lace
Aroma: smooth caramel/toffee malts, rich nuttiness, roasty coffee tones, earthy hops, subtle chocolate further underneath
Flavor: melds the prior mentioned aromas very nicely, swift aftertaste of earthiness and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, smooth along tongue, finishes semi-dry and smooth
Overall: not bad for an ESB, and fairly different as if it's a modern take on an ESB. I'd come back to.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: yellow in color with a semi-cloudy with a sly transparency and a one and a half fingers of white foamy head. The head slid off nicely to leave some decent lace
Aroma: citrusy tones over top of some sweet corn qualities, clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas semi-sweetly, nice smooth corn sweet aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, smooth along the tongue, finishes crisp and fruity hoppy smooth
Overall: I like this beer as it seemed like a good one to return to in the Summer.

Appearance: glossy burnt yellow color with a one and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy and tropical fruity hoppiness, nice clean malts
Flavor: bittersweet hoppy juiciness; mild aftertaste of juicy hops
Texture: light bodied, very sessionable, nice low carb, smooth on the tongue; finishes clean and dry
Overall: as a session IPA, I'd say Mayflower did what they wanted to and I believe it's a good one to return to on a hot Summer's day.

On draft at Seafood Sam’s in Sandwich. Crystal clear gold with a small white head. Nose is breadth malt and some lemon zest. Flavour is a bit fuller than the aroma, clean malt and some citrus. Easy drinking lager
