Draft at Arendsnest. Very dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma starts with poo before moving into more familiar BIPA territory of roast, grassy hops, dark chocolate and some fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A shame about the poo, drinking this reminds me of 2 girls 1 cup. Not a good thing from a BIPA..

On tap at Gollem. Deep dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, roasted malts, light spicy, some dark fruits. Flavour is lots of dark chocolate, light spicy rye, roasted malts, toffee, dark fruits, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very tasty.

Almost clear deep amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, some cereal sweetness. Mild toffee. Alcohol spice. Trace of dried fruits. Light dry spicy finish. Pretty simplistic.

Tap at Tap Zuid. Clear mahogany with beige head. Lots of caramel and toffee, dried dates, fresh figs, brown sugar, light grass and herbs. Medium sweet and bitter. Bit over medium bodied. Pretty good!

Sampled at Tap Zuid, Amsterdam. Dark brown color with a slight red glare coming through when held into the light, medium sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, light caramel, brown sugar, slightly coffee on the background and somewhat bitter. Medium body, decent carbonation. A bit too sugary I’d say.
