CD: 12/11/2024. Straight from the can in my favourite film theater, Lab 111. Nice resinous hops upon opening the can. Resin and some dark malts retronasal. Flavour is above moderate bitter and light malty sweet. Medium bodied. Firm bitter finish.

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', canned in November 2024. Almost clear, deep red with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, pinkish white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, rather fruity aroma of rosehip, redcurrant and light lemon. A little sweet, quite sour, rather fruity taste of redcurrant, lemon, rhubarb and rosehip, followed by a short, fairly tart finish. Almost medium-bodied, rather astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

0.44 l can from 'Mr. Hop', canned in May 2024. Very hazy, pale orange with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Intensely fruity, quite dank aroma of mango, papaya and pine with a touch of green peppers. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity and quite dank taste of mango, papaya, orange, pine and some green peppers, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Great beer, very interesting hop profile, demonstrating that not every NEIPA has to taste nearly the same.

There's an absolutely preposterous amount of smoke here, almost like it was a dare. Smoked malts, smoked apples, smoked peppers, probably smoked hops too. I found it enjoyable, and there's complexity behind the smoke and due to the different smokes.
