Description
Crumbs Brewing was founded by Reigate husband and wife Morgan and Elaine Arnell in 2017. After many years working in the corporate world they were keen to create something together with a positive message at it’s heart. Shocked by the amount of wastage their local artisan bakery, Chalk Hills, had to deal with they set about trying to find a new purpose for one lovingly crafted artisan product by creating a new one, beer!

Beers originally brewed by Goddards Brewery. Brewed at Crafty Brewing since 2023.

500ml bottle from a local Waitrose: BB Feb 2022. Drank at home on 12th Mar 2021. Very pale light golden body, clean and clear; thin, wispy and weak white head. Dough in the nose and a malty ester or two, taste is also bread malty first, some light hop bitterness arrives mid-sip. Pleasant enough, without getting me too excited.

Bittersweet in-mouth with caramel malt, leafy hops and tangy fruits. The finish remains fruity only to become increasingly bitter on the upper rear palate. Zingy mouthfeel and a mmedium body.

[50cl bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell.] A bright amber pour with gentle carbonation and a thin white head; grainy aroma; citrusy to start, with a definite sourdough taste; then a sour and salty finish. Rather good.
