Hoppy aroma of fruits, light caramel malt, floral, pine, grapefruit. Flavour is fruity hops, caramel malt, a subtle sweetness, leading to a nice potent bitter finish.

Aroma of dark malt, caramel, dark fruit, light molasses. Flavour is malty, caramel, medium sweet, with a light bitter finish. Nice Bock.

Aroma of yeast, fruity notes, light malt, citrus, floral notes, ginger, spices. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. A decent spicy/herbal Saison.

Bottle at home. Aroma is candied fruits, hops, maple syrup, apricot, malt biscuit, leafs, pine resin, some herbal tea notes, berries. Flavour is syrupy sweetness and moderate to medium bitter. Body is just above medium. Lovely sweet maple leavy IIPA, characteristically Anchor and not like any other IIPA on the scene. Pure beer candy.

Bottle at home. Aroma is fruity hops, citrus, grapefruit, floral notes, biscuity malt, sweetish fruits, pine resin. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Well-crafted and balanced, refreshing tasty IPA.

From tap at Amsterdam Beer Fair 2016. As "Anchor De Prinsessebier". Aroma is malt, spices, anise, fruity notes, touch of liquorice in the finish. Flavour is above moderate sweet. Body is medium. Surprisingly refreshing for a spiced beer, plenty of anise, interesting beer, not bad.

Bottiglia. Il naso trova sentori di orzo tostato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in buona armonia con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al palato arrivano note di caramello, miele, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, pane tostato, erbaceo ed agrumi.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è ambrato rossiccio carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato si fermano note di caramello, miele, cracker, frutta secca, agrumi, pompelmo, arancia rossa, mango, frutta tropicale, frutta passita, uvetta bagnata nel rum, mandorla fresca, vaniglia, legnoso e creme caramel. Alcol presente.

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ramato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul tetto della bocca si attestano sentori di miele, cracker, frutta secca, erbaceo, agrumi, pompelmo e arancia amara.
