Description
The Wild Beer Co was born in 2012 out of a love of fermentation, barrel-ageing and most importantly, flavour. We believe exceptional brewing stems from imagination and passion. Our beers are brewed using modern creative techniques and ingredients while producing some of the world’s oldest beer styles guaranteed to give you a memorable drinking experience.

Curious bought Wild Beer Co out of administration in a deal that involved the beer brands and intellectual property of Wild Beer Co, but not its Somerset-based brewery production facilities. The Curious and Wild Beer Co businesses were transfered into the hands of St Peter’s in 2023.

Nose is smoke, vanilla, espresso and oak. Taste leads with vanilla cream, into espresso, and finishing with smoke. Perhaps a little to creamy in the finish. Mouthfeel is cream, with alcohol warmth, but not harsh. A very nice winter warmer.

Keg at Lyric, Soho. It pours cloudy amber with a medium-thick beige head. The nose is earthy, straw, light spice, faint citrus and barnyard. The taste is spice, hay, earth, fairly high bitterness, lemon and soda water with a dry, bitter finish. Light-medium body and lively carbonation. A bit watery really and not much depth. So-so.

Bottled at Babajan, Stockholm. Pitch black with beige head. Aroma of chocolate and vanilla. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Heavu with molasses and syrup, lots of coffee and chocolate. Warming, syrupy finish with growing bitterness. Too sweet and somewhat superficial.
