Description
Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer. The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous. Liquid Mistress, Under Current, Sound Wave and Broken Dream are here to tease, sway and persuade. They gently beckon you to a new world of taste. Let yourself be carried away. Be enticed…

Cask at The Southern. Pours hazy amber with decent white head. Aromas of lemon sherbets. Too much sherbet, perhaps a bit off? Not much malt character, hop bitterness is there though. Iffy.

On tap at Beer Temple. Clear reddish amber-brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of citrussy hops, chocolate, hint of coffee, toast, hint of toffee. Flavour of toast, light-roasted malts, chocolate/cocoa, grapefruit, citrus, some tropical fruits, firm dry bitter finish with a little cocoa. Light-bodied. Really tasty mix of a best bitter, ipa, and mild ale imo.

On tap at Beer Temple. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, thin white head. Aroma of full on grapefruit and mango, lovely hoppy, just a hint of pine or spruce. Flavour is light sweet, juicy, grapefruit, mango, pine, crisp dry but also juicy bitter finish. Lovely hop-bomb. Light-bodied. Excellent stuff, could drink this all day.

Tap at Olbaren. Medium to dark brown withorange tints and a huge, fine, foamy, chocolate milkshake head. Very malty caramel and chocolate nose with huge, grassy, dirty hops. Smells like a hoppy brown ale. Interesting, odd flavors: grass and earth, caramel, chocolate, pine, citrus, sweat, minerals. Not an IPA in my book. Citrusy, grassy finish is a bit harsh in a herbal way, though not so bitter. Interesting. Not great, but decent.

Tap at Mikkeller. Dark golden color, low, lacy head. Cloudy. Huge lemony nose, yeah, coming close to limoncello, not quitr, but fascinating lemon. Some grass and biscuity malts too. Tart lemon flavor, almost sour edge, grass, bread. A bit thin. Interesting, good.
