Description
Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer. The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous. Liquid Mistress, Under Current, Sound Wave and Broken Dream are here to tease, sway and persuade. They gently beckon you to a new world of taste. Let yourself be carried away. Be enticed…

Had this at Craft, Clerkenwell, Saturday 17th August 2013 cask handpump dispense. Its a bit gloomy in here so colourwise I am uncertain but maybe murky amber. Crikey this is a heavy beer that drinks far easier than it should. In the mouth it is citrussy but also with plenty of pine, some grapefruit and a little pithiness, but I just keep thinking that it just feels a bit flat, it really needs a lift. It is also a bit sweet and syrupy in fact there is a heavy vein of hoppy sweetness. Really surprised that I didn’t go a bundle on this, as I have enjoyed the Siren stuff so far. Will try again perhaps on keg maybe? A7 A3 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg
Cloudy blond color with creamy head. Very fresh aroma of lemon, cedar, a bit tropical; also light Lambic funkiness. Lean body, dry mouthfeel; it has a moderate acidity and some bitterness from the white peel. Some astringency in the final, wood.
Monodimensional idea, quite good, but I don’t know where they got the stupid idea to associate the name to "limoncello".

Draught @ Folkis. This beer is a lot of fun, but to be honest; I don’t really like how the very acid hops and the citrus peels adds up to a one dimensional beer.

Draught @ Folkis. Notes of flour, melon, orange, and citrus. Crisp. The aftertaste is somewhat strange.

Draught at Söder om Småland, Malmö
Cloudy amber color with compact head, short lived. The aroma is a bit smelly, puke, feet, before the caramel; it develops better later, some grass and sweat. Dry mouthfeel, some caramel flavor, some yeast, strong bitterness without much hop quality. Dusty.
Tastes old. More British than American Pale Ale.

Bottle at Bishops Folkis. A bit odd smokey aroma. Nice porter like brew with taste of coffee and chocolate pudding.

Draught at Bishop Folkis. A nice drinkable APA, fruity taste of pear popcicle (Piggelin), but finishes slightly too bitter
