12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is pine hops. Bitter, sweet, slight herbal. Dry and pine hoppy finish.

On tap at Denver Rare Beer Tasting 8. Pours a dark purple with medium pinkish white head. The aroma is strong grape juice, oak, earth. Medium body, jammy grape, light tartness, very good.

Precious Metal tap: pours light amber with an off white head. Aroma is caramel and stuff. Taste is sweet with minimal bitterness. Some sweetness. Basically OK if a bit boring.

Bottle from Tops. Starts nice with a hazy golden pour, tight creamy head, lots of carbonation. Crisp grainy aroma, taste goes a bit south, musty, cheese. A bit too funky for the style. Not bad, but should be a bit more crisp.

Bottle from Wegmans. Big and malty, aroma and taste, very English. Dry and dusty, caramel, leather. Much more malty than hoppy.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, chocolate. Bitter and dark malty. Lingering roasted and chocolate malty finish.

12oz bottle from Milk and Hops. Weirdly, this is the second beer I've rated today and I'm the 10th rater of both beers. Anyway, this one is an unclear orange color, thin head, light, spotty lacing. Herbal, earthy aroma. Tea. Spicy, tingly flavor and mouthfeel. Not something I'd want 5 of, but fun enough to drink once.
