Draught @ Albion. Opaque dark brown with thick creamy beige head, coffee aroma, low carbonation, creamy mocha taste, full body, medium bitter mocha finish. Very smooth and mellow.

Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly crisp. Very light malts, nice light creamy sweetness. Floral sweetness. A light strawberry streak from somewhere! Light orangey hop, mild marmalade. Sweetish pine. Bare pinch of hop spice. Smooth finish leaves a piney linger. Comes together well enough and it’s a little off the beaten track.

Bottle from GBBF 2016 and drunk at home. Clear deep amber colour lasting thick beige head. Yes some Mosaic hop grapefruit and tangerine and tropical fruit. Some malts, some sweetness enough to balance the hops. Hops are fresh and citrus and tasty. Condition is good not too fizzy. Love the passionfruit, mango flavour. Bottle disappeared quickly. Lovely first beer of the day.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours deeps golden with a white head. Aroma is bready and kind of grassy. Taste is lightly sweet and kind of bready. Easy to drink. Light bit not too light.
