Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120807]

Half pint, cask, shared with Finn at The National Winter Ales Festival. Close to clear mahogany coloured body. Headless. Aroma of half tart berries. Malt-fruity taste joined by berries. Late arriving bitterness. Quite ordinary (Manchester, 24.01.2013).

Half pint shared with Finn, handpulled cask at NWAF. Bright dark brown body. No head. Moderate smell of liquorice and fruits. Flavoured with dark fruity hops. Semi-dry, bitter aftertaste. So so (Manchester, 24.01.2013).

At NWAF, shared with Finn. Half, cask by handpump. Clear amber, naked at the top. Lemony hops in aroma. Citrus kind of taste supported by a touch of grainy malts, hints of berries as well. More sweet than bitter to the ending. Standard (Manchester, 24.01.2013).
