Description

Bottle, 8.5%. The aroma is quite metallic, takes a while to waft off. Hazy chestnut colour. Semi-stable light brown head. The flavour starts off nicely and distinctly roasted, then turns smoky and finally vinous. Perhaps a bit too fruity for my liking. High carbonation.

Bottle. Weak smoky aroma. Hazy dark red colour, hint of brown. Nice stable light brown head. The flavour starts off quite dry, then there is some smoke, turning into a very roasted bitterness. The smoke is not as powerful as some other smoked beers, but quite distinct. The roast barley bitterness is a lot like some stouts. Good, full mouthfeel, slightly creamy.

Very cloudy golden, almost white color. Big, huge hoppy aroma with the american hops in this one, pretty neat! Perfumed, slightly floral, and some citrus qualities to boot. Hoppy and smooth with clean pilsneresque qualities and a yeasty zestiness helping it along. Finish is smooth and hoppy with a long lingering bitterness. Really quite nice.

Bottle. A reddish brown, sparkling beer with a medium sized beige head. There’s sediments in the bottle, but they more or less stay there if the pour is gentle. Fruity and heavy malty aroma with some sweetish notes, alcohol and red apples. Sweet, berry-ish flavor, quite malty, with some warming alcohol, roasted and nutty maltyness and a pleasant hoppyness. Full, slighlty sticky mouthfeel, and a long, hoppy, sweet and warming finish. Sure a good one, but maybe a bit heavy on the alcohol, without that being a consideration in my rating. (080126)

Bottle. Pours a cloudy, orange-brown body with an off-white head. Sweetish and malty nose with a little hint of cellar. Rather sweet flavor too, with some spices and pale malt, as well as some alcohol, but not in a bad way. Full, sweet mouthfeel. The finish has a pleasant hoppyness. Dark for a tripel, but sure nice. Would like to see more of those, and maybe heavier on the hops as well. (080118)

300 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a big, short lasting white head. Aroma is like bitter orange and alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet malt, alcohol and the kind of bitterness you might find in the white stuff under orange peel. This just didn’t impress me to much.

Bottled. Clear golden color, big white head. Aroma of fruits, some pineapple, citrus. Carbonation is high. Slight sweet and sour taste, pineapple, slight bitter. Decent but I’m not a big fan of pineapple though.

Bottled. A murky orange-brown beer with a fast disappearing orange head. The aroma is malty with notes of caramel and spices as well as a light tone of milk. THe flavor is sweet malty with strong spicy notes as well as medium fruity notes.
