Cask at Cocky Anchor, Worcester. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a medium sized foamy tan head. There’s roasted malts in the aroma together with a smokiness and hints of caramel and chocolate. Roasted malts again in the mouth plus dark fruits, vanilla and a hint of hops. Coffee and chocolate also some through later leading to a slightly dry finish. This is rather nice !

Cask at Borough Beer House, Farnham. Aroma has sweet syrupy fruit and malts. Clear gild. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. Vinous. Quinine. Citrus. Underlying sweet malty hints. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Punchy if unexciting.

Bottle (thanks TBone!). Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, some mild grassy and a but nutty tones with mild wood too. Flavour is fruity, grassy, some biscuity, wooden and mild nutty tones. Toasted finish.

Cask at Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. A rare find! Pours clear dark brown with a beige cap. Aroma: roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, light coffee. Chocolate malts, light roast, light to moderate bitter, dry taste. Medium body with soft carbonation.

500ml bottle bought at Lifecraft, IoW. Shared with Finn and lmojoh. Bright golden-brown body, beige bubbly head, spotty lacing. Malt-fruity aromas, bread and dusty hops. Fine balanced taste of grainy malts and moments of resinous bitterness, prolonged, rounded bitter tail. Like it. (Tromsø 21.12.2022).

Pale malt-driven taste joined by mid-dry hops. Pale malty ending with a bitter touch. Drinks well. Pleasing. (Tromsø 21.12.2022).
