Description
Open since 2000, Moat Mountain Smoke House is a 174-seat brewpub, restaurant, and inn located in one of North Conway's most historic buildings. In addition to our flagship location, we recently restored the Limmer Barn in Intervale, NH, opening the Moat Mountain Brewing Company Brewery Barn and Cannery in 2013.
Our speciality craft beers are distributed across Maine, Massachusetts, and of course, New Hampshire for everyone to enjoy in the majority of our New England home.
Our smokehouse prides itself on having a predominant in-house, scratch recipes sourced from local resources right here in North Conway.
Whether you're coming in to sit down with the family, or meeting some friends for beers and apps, you're welcomed at our brew pub to enjoy all ends of the spectrum of hospitality, great beers, and some amazing eats.

5 oz. draft. Aroma has apricots, flowers, and yeast. Flavor follows with a assertive floral and pine bitterness. No joke this bitterness is near astringent levels. Yikes!! You can keep the West Coast IPA’s.

From a pint can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aromas of grain and caramel. Flavors are crisp with sweet cereal predominating.

Cask@The Great British Beer Festival 2022 - Medium sweet malty and fruity, bitter resinous hoppy, juicy fruity, sweet malty backing, piney resinous bitter hoppy finish. Nice.

Pours dark mahogany into an English pint. Mocha head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Chocolate, roasted nuts, licorice and pit fruit aromas. Medium bodied and earthy with licorice, roasted almonds and dark chocolate front to back. Lasting, dry espresso finish.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Moderate haze on a golden yellow pour with a decent white cap formed of thinly knit bubbles. Nose is orange pith, pine needle, ripe melon, mixed tropical fruit esters. Taste comprises melon, grapefruit, orange zest, papaya, soft malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness. Decent cask IPA.

Pours hazy deep gold into a shaker. White soapy head with medium retention conglomerates as it recedes. Dusty marmalade aromas. Medium bodied with dry marmalade and hot caramel front to back. Lasting warm pith finish.

Cask at GBBF 2022, Olympia, London. A hazy golden/orange/yellow coloured pour with a medium bubbly off white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, malty, mango, tropical fruit taste & aroma. Quite sweet and thin but pleasant.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light but pretty sweet creamy sweet malts. Smooth pine. Smooth mellow citrus integrates well. Mild hop spice. Light semi dry finish. Quite a mellifluous affair, very good.

Cask at gbbf 2022 day 1. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a halo of loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, floral citrus, orange, waxy citrus, pine, mango. Palate is semi sweet light tang, good cask condition. Flavour is composed of semi sweet. Nice hop juice, mango, tangerine, grass, good.
