Bottle from Hawkshead Post Office, Hawkshead. Clear golden with a head and a carbonation. Clean tasting and more hoppy in character, than having a lager character. It is a lager in style though but with some earthy notes it.

Keg at the Malt & Hops in Leith. Nose is citrus, honey, wheat, vanilla, weizen. Palate is honeywater, citrus, grains, hoppy finish. Is this a hoppy mead aged weirdly? Is this a beer that is aged with honey for too long? I know one thing: it is weird as fuck.
