Description
We opened our doors in Brixton in mid 2013 with the aim of teaching Londoners how to make beer. We have expanded operations at this site to offer up to 30 draught lines featuring our commercially available beers, exclusive nano brews and guest beers plus a large stock of cans and bottles to take home. We remain one of the very few venues in London to stock home brewers with hops, malt and yeast.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at the Lab. Bottle 21 of 40 (rare!). Pours black-brown with a small, foamy beige head. Rich and toothy stuff, some peat, iodine, leathery berries, tangy accents, ashy roast, bitter cocoa. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, with further ashy roast, baking cocoa, old leather and dried berries, scorched earth, some pleasant peaty notes. Decent depth, if not entirely cohesive. Still, pretty good stuff on the whole.
