Description
We opened our doors in Brixton in mid 2013 with the aim of teaching Londoners how to make beer. We have expanded operations at this site to offer up to 30 draught lines featuring our commercially available beers, exclusive nano brews and guest beers plus a large stock of cans and bottles to take home. We remain one of the very few venues in London to stock home brewers with hops, malt and yeast.

Keg at LBL. Dark and glassy. No head at all Aroma had full on stewed fruit, berries and booze. Flavourwise there's booze alongside super sweet yesterday boozy berries and custard. Sweet but with a bite. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Lively bubbly.. Definitely some sort of desert.

Keg at LBL. Opaque dark brown. Thin foamy light beige head primarily sticks to the rim. Aroma reminds me of a malt drink - with a bitter edge. Flavourwise it is then miles apart from the aroma. Sour berries and herbs. Underlying sweet fruit. Banana? Herbal edge. Sourness prevails if in a restrained manner. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable enough.
