Siste kveld i London for denne gangen, og vi har tatt turen til London Beer Lab i Brixton. Fra fat: lett uklar gylden med utmerket skum ned til siste dråpe. Den gode maltkroppen bærer frem det beste i citrahumlen: citroner, clementiner, appelsinmarmelade og granskudd. Myk og sjarmende.

From tap at London Beer Lab 05.07.22. Ebony. Dense and persistent white head and lacing. Well-balanced aroma and taste of roasted malt, lemon and hints of liquorice and ash. Good quaffability.

From tap at London Beer Lab in Broxton 05.07.22. Cloudy pale peach colour. Diminishing white head. Inviting and interesting aroma and taste of lychee, sorrel, grapefruit, lime, passion fruit and pale malt. Very quaffable and a superb mouthfeel for such a low ABV. Decent grapefruit and pine bitterness is lingering on.

Keg at London Beer Lab, Brixton, 06/05/22. Hazed golden orange with a good sized off white head. Nose is bitter orange, light pine, grass, herb, citric zest. Taste comprises mellow yeast, orange peel, grass, hint of pine, melon, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light dusty hop bitterness. Not bad.

Keg at London Beer Lab, Brixton, 06/05/22. Black with a good sized tan head. Nose is tangy dried fruits, light acidic nostril twinge, dark malts, herb, damp straw. Taste comprises lactic bite, light acidic edge, tarte fruits, light funk, herb, stewed fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation ,semi drying close with a balanced puckering climax. Tasty.
