Keg at the Two Tailed Lion, Leicester, 08/10/21. Random find in Leicester I thought! Clear golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, toasted malts. Taste comprises pineapple, grass, tangerine, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitternss. So so.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hill & Szrok. Pours lightly hazed gold with a creamy, white head. Moderately sweet with lots of grainy pale malts, biscuits, straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet and biscuity in the finish, nips of grass, cereal, dirty hay. Enjoyable lager.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from the brewery’s online shop. Pours clear, deep gold, lightly effervescent, with a frothy white head. Medium sweet with ample paw malt support, juicy citrus fruits, ripening tangerine and orange, mellow rindy bitterness, slight oily pine. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more plump citrus fruits, mild bready pale mats, a little white grape and peach. A nice and rich but still highly drinkable DIPA.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the London Beer Lab online shop. Pours totally clear honey-gold with a modest, creamy white head. Light to medium sweet with nice subdued tropical fruits, ripening tangerine, orange, soft rindy bitterness, background pale malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish, some further bright tropical and citrus fruits, mellow oily pine, hints of white grape, low bitterness. Great stuff overall. Really drinkable.
