Can at home in Hackney - picked up at the London Beer Lab. Pours clear honey-gold with a lively, frothy white head. Pretty interesting stuff, quite sweet, lots of bready malts, herbal tea, a little oily vanilla, ripe orange, lightly bitter citrus peel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, vaguely sugary finish, more ripe citrus, herbal tea, leaves, doughy bread. It's certainly a novelty, but I can't say I would be in a rush to revisit this beer.

Finishes with rounded pale bread, lemon rind, hay, a bit more salt. Pretty so so overall,

Light sweet flavour with more cereal character, mild bitterness, straw and hay, some doughy sugars, background citrus accents. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bottle shard at Cotteridge get together. Pungent boozy whisky aroma. Dark and glossy. Creamy beige head. Coffee and liquorice. Tar. Hazy whisky fronds. Medium bodied. On the thin side. Fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Good stuff.

Shared bottle (number 125 of only 175); Cotteridge gathering 23rd June 2018. An off-white head sat on top of my dark brown sample, looked mean and interesting. The nose held some whiskey/bourbon like esters alongside some dark berry and malty molasses within it's aroma. Taste was sweeter than I expected from the sniffs, malty and boozy. Smooth body feel.
