Description
We opened our doors in Brixton in mid 2013 with the aim of teaching Londoners how to make beer. We have expanded operations at this site to offer up to 30 draught lines featuring our commercially available beers, exclusive nano brews and guest beers plus a large stock of cans and bottles to take home. We remain one of the very few venues in London to stock home brewers with hops, malt and yeast.

Floor 42, share a bottle or two! Thanks to Scopey. Hazy gold beer, bubbly cream colour head. Light dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. An odd bretty - cider vibe here. Some citrus and citrus peel. Light floralness. Dry bitterish finish. Bitter linger. Interesting but hardly what was intended you would think.

The taste is dry, bitter, liquorice, roasted malt, smooth smoke, dark chocolate, sticky, treacle and toasted nut with a smooth finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent overall.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Amber/gold, slightly hazy and flat. Light notes of papaya, dank hop notes, overripe oranges, a touch of toast. Well-contained bittersweet taste with caramel and tropical fruit flavours. A fleeting souring note before the drying finish. Strong tea, more papaya and the gentlest layer of vinegar in the aftertaste. Not bad.
