Description
We are always busy creating taste sensations, always looking for improvements or new flavours and optimizing our beers. Our beer is pronounced, complex, balanced, often full and soft in texture. We don’t brew beer for everyone, we only brew beer for people who love pronounced flavours. We do this by constantly tinkering with our recipes in search of perfection, we want to brew beer that is considered legendary. One has to tell stories about how great the beer of the Moersleutel is. Anyone who drinks our beer must be spoiled for life and must want nothing more.

Bottle from De Bierkonig, at home, 8th December 17. Pours black, big head for a stout of this weight, aroma is vineous, wet barrel, liquor, slight sour. Taste is complex, blended well, liquorice, grainy wood notes, liquor, barrel, roasted malt. Great impy, from one of my favourite Dutch breweries

(Thank you!) Sampled draft @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. Black syrup with no head. Nose is sweet candy stale chocolate, candy, sweet syrup. Taste is some pleasant vanilla, cheap chocolate, dark honey, weird plastic finish, basic candy. Thick soapy & chocolate body. Nice but not great, definitely better than some other Moersleutel stouts for me.

(Thank you!) Sampled draft @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017. Black syrup with no head. Nose is molasses weird varnish, chocolate, harsh. Basic chocolate molasses syrup but also strangely bitter, varnish, flat alcoholic syrup, overly bitter, hard to drink, not that great for the style.
