Aroma is moderate malty, cookie - cake, bisquit, caramel, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, malt. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, fruity, pale - bright wood, light to moderate hoppy, grass, sharp. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest in KEGS. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and light, semi dry with good fine carbonation. Smooth malt, semi dry and semi sweet. Nice hops, sweet fruitiness and floral notes. Peach led tropical fruits and a well integrated bubblegum ester. Light semi dry finish with apricot coming to the fore. Very nice fruits here!

Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks Thursday 23rd January 2014 Very dark gold edging towards light amber in colour, great clarity when the mist of bubbles settle. Perhaps just a little warm would be my only criticism of the condition otherwise in super nick. More malt driven on the nose than the big thrusting hoppiness I might have expected, but with the maltiness there is a distinct waft of brewday in the air, it is very good. Quite thick feeling in mouth, a big malty & hoppy combination, its good. I think if this were a little cooler I would get the crispness more, it tastes very strong more like a 6-7% IPA Bittersweet with a long lingering bitter finish. A7 A5 T7 P4 Ov14 3.7
