8 Wired is a micro brewing company based in Warkworth, New Zealand.

Our mission is to produce mind blowing beers that will wow craft beer lovers, excite fellow beer geeks and educate the mis-guided who still believe that "beer is just beer". If you want to come on this journey with us, please get in touch.

8 Wired Brewing is inspired by the legendary Kiwi can-do mentality and fellow craft brewers who have dared to challenge the masses and show us all that beer is no longer “just beer”! Known for producing “New world interpretations of old world styles” 8 Wired have multiple shades of very hoppy IPAs, Saisons, Porters and Stouts in their permanent line up and have the biggest barrel aged and sour program in the southern hemisphere.

After 5 years of contract brewing, eventually at 4 different breweries across New Zealand we now finally have our very own brewery (In Warkworth, North of Auckland) where we brew and package everything.

Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and oaky. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 051111

Bottle. Almost black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and oak. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, oak, vanilla, coconut, liquorice, coffee, hops and medium bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, vanilla, berries, brown sugar, wood and hops.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a medium to short lived off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, light phenolic and fruity yeasty. Roasted malty, fruity and slight yeasty flavoured. Classic quad to dark Belgian flavoured. Dark malty and light yeasty fruity finish.

Bottle, thanks Hirigalzkar and Ölflickan! Pours black with a shortlasting brown head. Aroma of vanilla, choclate and cheweing gum. Taste of choclate, licorice and some wood. Smooth mouthfeel.
