8 Wired is a micro brewing company based in Warkworth, New Zealand.

Our mission is to produce mind blowing beers that will wow craft beer lovers, excite fellow beer geeks and educate the mis-guided who still believe that "beer is just beer". If you want to come on this journey with us, please get in touch.

8 Wired Brewing is inspired by the legendary Kiwi can-do mentality and fellow craft brewers who have dared to challenge the masses and show us all that beer is no longer “just beer”! Known for producing “New world interpretations of old world styles” 8 Wired have multiple shades of very hoppy IPAs, Saisons, Porters and Stouts in their permanent line up and have the biggest barrel aged and sour program in the southern hemisphere.

After 5 years of contract brewing, eventually at 4 different breweries across New Zealand we now finally have our very own brewery (In Warkworth, North of Auckland) where we brew and package everything.

Bottle shared at the Beau in London tasting, last group tasting for 7 months - who knew, thanks to Tipple 11/03/20. Black with a good sized tan head. Nose is tangy dark fruit esters, roasted malts, spice, charr, light brett notes. Taste comprises tarte fruits, chocolate, fruit cake, mellow bretted notes, funk, light roast, ashen tones, red berries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent but not blow me away by any means.

Panda at home, thanks to Tips, 27/09/21. Black with a good sized tan covering that veers edgewards. Nose carries a solid coffee profile, light spice, chocolate, mellow roast, nutty tones, brown sugar dusting. Taste comprises sweet malts, trace of lactose, coffee bean, chocolate, light roast, charr, toffee, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced warming boost. Solid coffee fuelled impy.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Tipple. A oily dark black coloured pour with dark red hues. Aroma is semi sweet, earthy meaty roast, mellow campfire notes, jammy fruits, mint, vanilla. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty earthy roast, light char, mellow dried fruit, coffee beans, mellow cocoa. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow carbonation. Hides the abv very well. . Rich and rounded, well done.

Best New Zealand lambic I've had this millennium. Great grapefruit infusion and some grape, a little oak barrel. Tangerine and a hint of pepper. Clear golden pour with ok head. Tart fruit finish. Very smooth and easy drinking. 2014 bottle at Pizza Paradiso.

A light yellow and hazy beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has citrus, grapefruit, not fresh enough. Taste has citrus, grapefruit, lime, some caramel. Medium bodied. This beer should fresher and with clearer flavours.

Can 440ml @ home
Pours hazy orange with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, orange, citrus, pineapple and grape. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, orange, pineapple and citrus finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

0,44 boks fra polets kiosk i Etne, delt med trekkspilleren under tradisjonsbrygging på Voss: lett uklar gylden medf fint skum som varer. Herlig, fruktig citrusaroma og -smak med litt kiwi og jordbær i utkanten. Eminent forfriskende, direkte oppløftende.
