10/7/2019. Cask at the 30th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours almost black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, dried fruit, caramel, roasted malt and light cherry. Light sweetness and heavy bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation.

10/7/2019. Cask at the 30th Ealing Beer Festival. Pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, grass, light vanilla and hint of spice. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Light body, watery texture, fine carbonation. Bitter finish.

Cask @ Ealing Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, malt, hops and has a nice bitter finish.

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours clear orange, nose is toffee, citrus, hay, taste is sweet, grassy, bitter.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - deep amber to brown with a decent head. Nose - brown bread and toffee. Taste - toffee and burnt bread this time. Palate - close to medium bodied. Crunchy middle and finish. Almost astringent on the end. Overall - getting towards being hard work.

Cask at the Guildford Arms. Pours clear dark amber with a thin white head. Aromas of toffee and brown bread. Taste is more of the same. Slight astringent finish.

17th Feb 2019. Hand-pulled half-pint in the Station Hotel, Oakengates. Black body, thin head of lightly tanned foam. Coffee, vanilla ice cream and liquorice in both the nose and taste, fairly sweet and slick in the mouth, liked it.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Deep gold with a moderate white head and a middling fizz. Caramel, spice, floral notes, and a touch of dry leaf in the mildly bitter finish. A better than average gold.
