Description
First and foremost, we love beer as much as you, it's why GT Ales was born. It started in 2013 from my garage at home, where we brewed on a lovely little 100litre set-up. Offering samples to friends and family, we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback and the resounding 'you should be selling this commercially', and so got samples out to local pubs, shops, restaurants and hotels. The response from customers' from the offset was amazing, although the nano set up was working to capacity to meet the demand. Not a bad problem to have, but we wanted to keep brewing and making our beers accessible to a wider audience.

Can. A gift from Totnes. The man, not the place. Clear dark reddy amber. Decent froth of pale beige. Nose has fruit Toffo sweets. Hint of spicy hop. Taste is mostly sweet. Some dryness. Thin on the palate with brisk carbonation. Dry-ish and light bitterness to finish. Not for me.

500ml bottle; BB Oct 2020. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 20th Feb 2020. Clear and clean light golden body, thin white head. Citrus aroma and taste, tangy and semi-bitter in nature. A lot more hops around than maltiness.

500ml bottle, part of a three pack of different beers from the brewery, thanks Dad for the present. Drank at home on 15th Feb 2020, best before date was Oct 2020. Light haze to the golden body, decent white head. Mild citrus leanings in both the nose and initial taste, some piney notes arrive later but there is a fruity/citrusy undertone throughout. Dry and fairly bitter, enough malts for balance and prevent the hops taking over completely.

500ml bottle from our trip to Devon. Pours a generally clear deep amber, sparse off white bubbles atop. Aroma is nutty, twiggy caramel. Taste continues along similar lines, distant smoky hints, twiggy, caramel, fairly fruity, light and drinkable overall. It's alright I guess.
