Bottle at home. A proper best bitter with malt, bitter hops and an enjoyable depth of flavour. Good, but not worth what I paid for it.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Hazy amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts bring a very mild sweetness. Light floral bitterness. Well buried tangy citrus. Dry bitter finish. Bit dry and bitter but okay.

Bottle split at L42, thanks to Kenny, 19/10/17. Light haze on a golden amber pour with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit, earthy fruits, hedgerow, toffee, leafy notes. Taste comprises biscuit malt, straw, grains, brown bread, light tofee. Medium bodied, spritzy and overcarbed, semi drying close with moderate bitterness. So so bitter.

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Kenny for this old-school treat. Pours lightly hazy orange with a big, frothy off-white head. The aroma holds toasted leaves, dried berries, orange peel. Lightly sweet flavour, with more leafy bitterness, toasted grains, plastic, grass. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Very bitter on the finish, moderately astringent, with more grains, leaves. Not the best.
