Cask at the Lyndhurst - Reading. Pours clear copper with a frothy, light khaki head. Mild bready malts in the nose, hints of butter and leaves, grains. Light sweet flavor with lightly toasted grainy bread, toffee accents, a little earth and leaf. Light bodied with fine carbonation; the condition is decent. Nicely balanced on the finish, with more simple, toasty malts, subtle leafy bitterness, a dash of toffee. Easygoing bitter.

Cask, gravity at Banbury Beer Festival, Thursday 7th May 2015 Pours light gold with some white bubbles. This was an excellent beer, ok so the nose was a tad disappointing with the grapefruit struggling to assert itself over slightly concerning buttery notes, but in the mouth quite a revelation, gloriously fruity, citrussy with grapefruit uppermost in the equation leading to a dry finish. Glen was spot on, it was a jolly decent beer. A5 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.7

Cask at Loose Cannon Brewery members night (Cheers Will) Abingdon, Oxon, Tuesday 9th December 2014. Brown conker coloured beer, good clarity with a slim white head. A little chewy caramel and rather thin vein of bitterness. Moderately fruity beer, its ok, but one of the weaker beers in terms of flavour and how I would view them. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12. 3.1

Cask at Loose Cannon Brewery members night Abingdon, Oxon, (Cheers Will) Tuesday 9th December 2014. Some corn on nose, gold, crystal clear, white slim head. Sweetish in mouth and lacking in outright crispness otherwise a pretty decent stab at a Pilsner. Pleasant bitterness, not bad at all. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13. 3.4
