Gravity cask at the 2024 Leicester CAMRA Beer Festival, Abbey Pumping Station. Orange-brown, clear with a smallish off-white head. Slight scent of orange peel, maltloaf, spicy rye. Sweet taste at first, rye present but not overpowering, light overripe citrus. Slowly turning bitter in the drying finish bit overall this is a sweet beer. Light resinous, alkost bubblegummy notes at the finish. This is really nice, I'm surprised considering I'm not the biggest fan of rye beers. Subtle but impressive.

Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Amber and clear with a good-sized off-white head. Soft flowery aroma. A touch of caramel.taste has a nice balance to it, quite bitter considering what the nose promised. Caramel in the aftertaste but the bittering hops still linger. A capable and enjoyable bitter.
