500ml bottle purchased from Bryter Moon deli and drunk at home. It’s quite a light gold, clear with a crown of white head. Nose is mostly lemon, with some bready and grassy character. Nicely balanced taste, some medicinal bitterness just at the finish. Light body with extremely heavy carbonation. Refreshing and not what I expected, has a lot more character than many goldens.

Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Dark, almost brownish gold and clear with an uneven film of white head. Citrus and light tropical fruit hops stand above a malty aroma. Taste is sweet with iced tea,, guava, light caramel flavours. Bitter in the finish. Oily and flat body. Surprisingly subtle. A good pale.

500ml bottle bought from Bryter Moon deli. It pours a fairly light gold with a small ring of white head. Strange little aroma: some lemon drops, sourdough, icing sugar. Sweetish taste with a malty backbone & enough bettering hops to give it balance. Nice body, fairly slight with heavy carbonation. It's a standard English golden, inoffensive but nothing special.
