(Can) Pours slightly hazy amber with tiny white head. Very subtle aroma - slightly fruity, slightly bready. Medium body, smooth and slightly sticky with medium bright carbonation. Unusual and enjoyable taste with a lot going on. There’s a fair amount of sweetness, some tangy apricot jam fruitiness at the start, some pleasant hoppy bitterness in the finish, creamy notes in the middle. Unusual, pleasant.

Pours brown with a large, lasting off-white head.Nose shows nutty, toasty and bready malt along with chocolate notes.Flavours include more bready and toasty notes, and nutty almond-like sweetness and some soft caramel. Delicate yet full-flavoured at the same time.

Pours slightly cloudy amber with a slight coppery-red tinge. Small quickly dissipating head.Nose shows lemon, peppery notes, and lime notes.Flavours include lemon, pepper, slight tomato and celery. Pretty much nails the flavours of a bloody mary, but without a massive focus on the tomato or celery. Which is probably a good thing! Finishes with a balanced acidity and a hint of fusel booze.

330ml bottle into glass. Goodwood Hotel, Adelaide. The nose is full of hoppy goodness, lots of piney resin. Golden amber beer with a solid head of white foam. Patchy lacing. Slight haze with streams of fine bubbles. Hoppy, bitter, dry, light body. As it warms, more background malt becomes apparent. Nicely balanced with smooth carbonation makes this surprisingly easy to drink. Nice IPA.

(Can) Pours black with ruby highlights and a good tan head. Aroma of nuts and dark roast malt. Medium body with good full carbonation. Pleasant well balanced flavour. It’s a rather nice porter with nuts. The nuts add a smooth softer edge to the flavour profile. Very drinkable.

Can. Black with a good cm of mid tan head that fades but never quite disappears.. Aroma of floaty fresh coffee with some roast and brown sugar behind. Moderately sweet with some milky and chocolate notes too. The rest really just balances the coffee, which is decidedly the central player. Fair enough.

(Can) Pours black with thin tan head. Lovely aroma of coffee, toast, roast nuts. Medium body with bright carbonation. Great taste. A nice mix, balance of stout and coffee. Very clever. They work well together. There’s coffee and dark roast malt with some burnt bitter hints. Very good. (5.6% ABB not 5.8% and name specifies cold drip coffee, but seems to be the same beer from the description)

Can. Dark brown with a cm of beige head. Light nutty/ coffee aroma with some dark sugars behind. Wattleseed really works here. Light bodied. Some chocolate as well as caramel ad wattleseed. Taste is drier than I'd guessed with some intrusive burnt notes before pleasant bitterness.

(Can) Pours black with good thick tan head. Bold aroma with mocha, pipe tobacco, and hints of wood and berries. Lovely mouthfeel, quite full bodied with plenty of fine soft carbonation. Taste starts with coffee and some dark toffee hint of sweetness. Then the bitterness takes off, with a combination of hop and burnt sugar bitterness. There’s some pleasant transient fruity notes in the mid palate. Enjoyable.

Can. 2020 version is 8.3% ABV. Black with a good inch of tan head that fades to a fat coat. Aroma of roast, mocha, stewed berries, tobacco, menthol. Medium bodied + with lowish carbonation. Getting towards silky. Drier than expected with more roast than mocha, some singed notes, prominent bitterness that's pine and spice-tinged. I like that but the berries got a bit lost. There's also not much of a bottom end rumble, but it is closer to 8 than 10%. What I like about this one is its coherence and harmony.
