Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Big Dave Wingman. Light haze on this gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a little rye character. Touch of sweetish caramel. Mildly bitter floralness. Light finish. Not really showcasing the hops is it?

Bottle at level 42 (thanks to Dave). It pours hazy amber with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, candied citrus peel, peach, apricot and nectarine. The taste is smooth, rich, apricot, nectarine, orange squash, candied peel, soft alcohol, straw and spice. Medium body and soft carbonation. A touch sweet perhaps. Pretty OK.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Davy. Pours mostly clear gold with a fluffy, white head. Restrained aroma, some pale crackers, rindy citrus. Light sweet flavour, dry and pithy, some paper, lemon peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, with more pithy citrus, melon, rindy bitterness. So so overall.

The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, spice, wood, leather, sweet apple, pear and toasted brown bread with a dry, toasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Simple, but pretty ok overall.

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre-Christmas/post-Pigs Ear holiday tasting of 2015 - London. Pours unclear gold with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma holds light pine, tangerine and mango. Light to medium sweet flavor with pale bread, light hay, meringue, orange, subtle pine needles. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly sweet to finish, with floral hops, citrus fruits, pale bread. Not bad.
