Description
Born out of the creative and inspirational beer scene of Brighton, Laine Brew Co beers are an art form in themselves – each one a playful composition of flavour, inventiveness and good times. They’re unfiltered, unpasteurised, uncompromising – and unique.
We create highly individual and authentic craft beer which is accessible to all, and tastes so damn good! Our core range is focused on consistent, sessionable beers and supported with some awesome, locally inspired designs (think Brighton Skyline guys). We also brew short run, specials and collaboration beers at our North Laine Brewhouse. These are our limited edition wild, weird and wonderful beers that are all a little bit different but brewed just as lovingly as our core range!
Surrounded by the South Downs national park, the brewery is rooted in the countryside while keeping close ties with Brighton.

[33cl can from Lidl, Crowthorne.] A bright pale amber pour with a smattering of white froth; aroma of malt and citrus; biscuity malt taste with some sweet lemony citrus, then some sour grains; and a chewy finish with more malts and some sharply bitter lemon zest. A pleasant sippa!

330ml can from a local Lidl; BB 5th April 2023. Drank at home on 24th November 2022. Slight haze to the golden pour, white head. Citrusy/tropical fruit aroma and taste, not as exciting as I'd hoped for but a decent enough beer all round.

330ml can from a local Lidl; BBE September 2023. Drank at home on 24th November 2022. Clean golden body, white head. Light aroma held both citrus and piney notes, the taste also a combination of citrusy and piney hops on a bed of semi-sweet malty goodness.

330ml can; BBE April 2023. Drank at home on 24th November 2022. Golden orange body, clean and clear, decent white head that lasted. Mango's all the way here, not much else got through the aroma or flavour wise.

Can from Asda, High Wycombe. Hazy gold with a white head and a persistent thin fizz. Tastes of cheap white bread, light lemon and lime, a hint of metal and a smidge of white pepper. It's all a bit light and inconsequential; they definitely haven't achieved the juicy they were aiming for. Pretty average fare.

Can from Lidl Supermarket, Salford. Slightly golden, slightly deeper golden coloured ale with a thin head and a light carbonation. Slightly robust pale ale including a maltiness, also with a bitterness, good hoppiness, a dryness, but quite crisp tasting too.

Tap@Art & Craft CR0, London (02/11/2022) - Prominent mango forward, overt sweet mango, kind of overly sweet and artificial, light hoppy and mango laden fruity finish. Not working for me.

Cask at Military Arms, Sandbach (not yet listed in RateBeer). Pours bitter brown with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma has a faint yet distinct sir of cherries plus malts and some nutty hints. In the mouth cherries are again evident, along with toffee, biscuits and malt. There is a smooth creamy texture and some hints of spices. This is rather nice – but not quite what I was expecting !
