Description
Beer creates great excitement. It looks simple, but it actually hides many secrets. Every craft beer causes impatience before the tasting and enjoyment when you are revisiting the flavor. Its diversity of taste, aroma, texture and color is huge, sometimes it seems endless.

We consider ourselves to be passionate gourmets. We are searching for new and unusual tastes, while aiming to offer the highest quality craft beers from the selected ingredients, thus we have created Kabinet Brewery. Our beers are produced in Nemenikuće on a sunny slope at a foot of the mountain Kosmaj.

Our wish is that Kabinet Brewery, as a Cabinet of curiosities(*), gathers in one place all the amazing tastes and smells of the beer world that has long inspired us. Welcome to Kabinet Brewery.

(*) The Cabinet of curiosities or wonders– a collection of distinctive, unique items, all that is rare, strange and precious, the finest handicrafts, natural wonders, usually received and gathered from the exotic travel as an examples of the natural, geological, religious, ethnological and artistic value.

0.33 l bottle at Tehnolog’s Craft Bar in Novi Sad, Vojvodina. Hazy dark golden with small to medium off white head. Citrus and herbs, malts otherwise. Mint, basil, or other Herbs? Sweet and sour. Distinct herbal aroma until the finish. Light to medium body and medium carbonation. Not very complex, but interesting.

0,33 bottle at the Beerville shop in Belgrade-Serbia. Ciao Vlada! Pours an hazy dark golden color, little off-white foam which lowers quite fast leaving lacing. Nose: biscuits, bacon smoked meat, mild smoky maltiness. A bit soapy too. Mouth: smoked notes, a bit mineral and salty in the finish, soft and a bit anonymous in the middle but not bad. Limbo beer.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Domagoj from Pivoteka (thanks!). Unclear orange/golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, mild hemp in the nose. Moderate malty, caramel, hemp, light hoppy and some herbs with rather dry finish (also traces of hemp in the finish). Ok beer.

Thanks Domagoj for sharing this with Ogi (and, thus, me)! Claims to be a "dark ale" but pours a hazy, full golden body with a medium head that went away fast. Hm. Distinct, pleasant hemp arona, slightly sweetish, elegant. Taste... aggressive hemp, vaguely peachy in the mild maltiness that shows up, quite bitter up front in a pretty unique, though not perfect herbal way. Now, if you really enjoy hemp, this is probably brilliant for you, as it’s a hemp beer that perfectly pulls off the aroma of weed and replicates that in the taste, which is quite uncommon. It’s just the strange bitterish aftertaste that’s unappealing. So, great for its niche, less so as a beer on its own, but hey, whatever floats your boat!

Dec ’14. A 0.33 l bottle, Marko’s, thanks to him and all of involved, too! It poured very dark brown body with a big head. Aroma showed fine coffee, herbs and hints of cocoa, which exploded in the flavor. Lightly bitter herbal, it was smoothed absolutely with creamy cocoa/chocolate, red brick and of course coffee. Its full body assured long and really nice long finish which was lightly on the bitter side. Very nice porter and my new favorite Serbian beer! Well done, looking forward to their new beers!

Dec ’14. A 0.33 l bottle, Marko’s, thanks to him and all of involved, too! It poured hazy old amber body with a big head atop. Fruity hop aroma, as in deScription, melon more than tropical fruits, citrus, touch of herbs. Malty as well a bit, plain but pleasant biscuit malt. Flavor was first bitter, then the malt came into the equation, offering a full palette of aromatic bitter hops, biscuit and caramel malt and all in the between. Melon dominated the aftertaste again, which was medium-long and pleasant bittersweet with many flavors that survived the taste. An enjoyable IPA, showed some complexity, and with its almost 7% ABV and full body it can showcase it well indeed.

Dec ’14. A 0.33 l bottle, Marko’s, thanks to him and all of involved, too! This one poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Fine aroma, citrus, wheat, lot of chalky yeast. Flavor was lightly bitter, herbal, orange, honey malt and still yeasty. A bit light in body to show its full ale character. "Mada Brka kaze da je sada mnogo losije nego ranije zato sto ne stoji dovoljno dugo u kacama." It must be the reason ;) Light carbonation dissipates the aftertaste quickly. Generally, not bad, still enjoyable.
