RBESG pt 2. Brewdog Shepherds Bush. Bottle thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry, mildnfine carbonation. Strange barleywine! Mellow sourness, mild guezey vibe, generic fruits. Light dry finish. Mmmm curious stuff but not unpleasant.

Bottle shared during RBESG - thanks to Paul. Pours clear yellow with a mild white head. The nose has sweat, green pepper, some tangy pale fruits. Light sweet flavor with moderate acidity, a decent bit of green pepper spice, lemon. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Spicy finish with more pepper burn, soft tart lemon, faint pale dough. Novel.

Bottle share thanks to Paul. Pale green yellow with a halo of white head. Aroma is weird veg broth and sharp acid. Some chilli in the nose. Flavour is composed of veg chilli, pepper, acid, spice at the back of the throat. Light spicy acid. Palate is light semi crisp. Decent.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop. It pours pale gold with minimal head. The nose is grainy, sour acidity, chilli heat, tangy, vegetal and tinned fruits. The taste is tart, tangy, acidity, chilli heat, sour green apple, tinned fruit, pineapple and green vegetables with a dry, lightly spiced finish. Actually I quite like the balance. Interesting and fun.

Bottle shared during RBESG. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Smells like this has a vicious infection: sour wheat, lemon, wood. Light sweet flavor with woody bitterness, lemon rind, faint apple, some hay, mild alcohol. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Tangy finish, some further citric lemon, hay, wood, mild booze. Interesting.

Bottle shared thanks to Leighton. Aroma is big Brett funk, horse, light caramel. Flavour is medium sweet malts, touch of caramel then big Brett, funk, light tart. It’s pleasant but I’m not sure it was intentional. Translucent yellow coloured pour with lasting bug white head. Interesting beer despite the infection.

Bottle - Bubblegum and light fruits. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Effervescent and lightly sour. Tastes like an odd Berliner Weiss liqueur child with the worst aspects of both. .

Keg @ Port Street Beer House. Paler amber with a thin head. Quite strong tasting but with hops and tropical fruits still evident.

Keg CBC Holborn. It pours cloudy orange with a decent off-white head. The nose is big brett action, earth, barnyard, funk, light manure, orange citrus, hay and some sherbet. The taste is bitter, earthy Brett, dirt, wood, barnyard, orange, tangerine, spice, mango, piney resins with a lingering bitter, earthy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Great bretted apa action. A touch stinky on the nose, but very tasty anyhow...
