Keg @ Common, Manchester. Deep copper-amber with a creamy-frothy head. Has a strong tasting hoppiness and a dry aftertaste. There's a hint of fruit in its aroma.

Black with no head. Aroma does have sweet passion fruit. Sadly the flavour is quite off. Sourish. Possibly infected.

Past date bottle, gusher. Aroma is strong with Bretty wild yeast. Flavour is similar but beneath the remnants of the barley wine are there with dried fruit and sugars. Not the aged barley wine I expected.

Dark brown colour. Aroma has some almost savoury liquorice notes and background mint. Tastes more minty. Has some caramel elements. Ultimately not a good flavour for a beer.

Golden colour with big fluffy head. Aroma and flavour both have tartness and yeast. The sourdough yeast is certainly a lively embellishment to a lager. I hope to see this theme repeated by other brewers.

Cask @ Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Dark brown with next to no head. Has mainly sweetened dark malts, but some roasted ones too - however its strength dominates so does impact on its taste.
