Murky brownish. Aroma is hibiscus toffee rose a good portion of abbey yeast (imagine a decent dubble) and notes of vanilla and chocolate. Taste is bitter slight boozy yeasty base with good toffee flavours and oaky vanilla notes. Small bubbled mouthfeel and a long finish of toffee and chestnut actually. Balanced. I almost forgive this bottle for gushing.

A me piace. Buona. Buone feste! c. UNES Germignaga 27.12.19

UNES Maccagno 23.11.19

Unes Maccagno 25.08.19

Bottle (after expiring date). Deep brownish/amber color, with creamy head. Aroma is chestnut, honey. Taste is malty, chestnut, caramel, a bit sour. Medium carbonation, medium body. Not bad, but I wouldn't drink much.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning, a little bit past the BBE date. Presented as a stout! Black color. Dense beige head with good retention. Aroma's: big coriander, dark berries, chocolatey. Retronasal mainly coriander, light chocolate. Flavor is light moderate sweet, fruity sour, berries, spicy. Medium bodied. Spicy bitterish finish. Not even too bad, but the coriander doesn't go very well with this (type of) beer.

Bottled 330ml. -from Eataly Trieste. Dark amber/brownish coloured, small off-white head, light chestnut in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, notes of chestnut and slightly vinous notes in rather dry finish. Had better had worse.
