Description
Muifelbrouwerij is located in The Netherlands in Oss, Noord-Brabant. Our mission is to develop, produce and sell tasty and unique craft beers. We started in 2007 and we are extremely proud on our brewery and our craft beers. In our head-quarters at the Vikingenweg in Oss we have a tasting room, our warehouse and since January 2019 our own brewhouse, fermentation tanks and filling line.
The name Muifelbrouwerij might need some explanation. Muifel is a non-existing word and is derived from Megen and duivel. Megen is a small city in The Netherlands where the brewery started on small scale (20 liter brews) for private consumption. Duivel is Dutch for Devil. Muifel was the name of one of the beers from the early days, inspired by the famous Belgian Duvel beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear copper with a small white head. Caramel aroma with some cranberries. Sweet taste with a bitter finish. Because the quantity of the cranberries has been kept low the cranberries are not overpowering everything else, which is a good thing in my book.

Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a decent fine minerally crispness. Light malts, modestly sweet. Mild pine and a pinch of hop spice. Citric peel bitterness with a touch of fresher citrus. Semi dry finish. Itβs both serviceable and drinkable without being remotely modern or remarkable.

Bottle. 6.8% on the label. Golden color. Mango in the slightly floral aroma. Malty sweet flavor with raisin, mango and peach. Vinous and dusty notes. Tropical fruit. 10/9/2008, 5.5% on the label. Golden color, hazy. Grass and citrus in the aroma. Flowery citric light hopbitter flavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Thinnish. Sharp citrus mouthfeel, but a very pleasant beer.
