Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een troebel donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van roggen en rood fruit. De smaak is vol fruitig, zacht zoet, licht kruidig en een hint drop.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is sweet dark malt, sweet cocoa, soft roast, chocolate, some caramel. Flavour is quite sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Quite sweet... Not a great Imperial Stout at all, but nice and drinkable with plenty of chocolate.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is mild fruity hops with citrus, orange, tropical notes, grapefruit, and some wort. Flavour is mild sweet with a firm (almost harsh) bitterness. Body is light and weak. Not bad for a low/nonalcohol beer.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is resinous hops with malt, pine resin, tropical fruity notes, grapefruit, some caramel, and ripe orange. Flavour is medium sweet with a long bitter finish. Body is medium. Good IIPA with a heavy focus on resinous hops, thick pine resin with grapefruit and malt. Potent bittersweet flavour, nice!

Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is caramel malt with soft but noticeable bittering noble hops, notes of toffee and cranberries. Flavour is medium sweet with a fine bitterness. Body is medium. Rather more pleasant than I expected.

Bottle. Color: Murky reddish brown, beige head. Aroma: Sherry, raisins, malty, almond, hints of wood. Taste: Raisins, dark malt, caramel, Sherry notes (more subtle than in the aroma), oak wood and almond notes. Sugary hints, candy sugar. Medium body, below average carbonation. Bit creamy mouthfeel. Over moderate sweet, light to moderate hopbitterness. Well done barrel ageing, but feeling a bit thin overall.

Bottle from Beer in a Box. Fairly smooth with notes of whiskey and soft smoke. Medium sweet with a little alcohol in the finish. Enjoyable enough.
