Golden yellow colour, just slightly hazy. Off white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's are piney, citrussy and a little dank. A bit more dankness retronasal, sweetish and bitterish as well. Flavour is full on bitter with soft sweetness. Medium bodied. Long finish with firm bitterness. Nice IPA, but hardly NE.

9 month old markdown bin pint can A: Pours a too tall off white thick rocky froth that fades very slowly, leaving lace rings. Deep clear gold with very active carbonation visible. S: Nice bready aroma. Faint sweet caramel and a vegetal hint of hot pepper. T: A decent balance of herbal hops and crisp bready malts. The pepper is present and prominent but not overwhelming. M: Light bodied with a coating texture, subdued carbontaion and oily finish. O: Not a bad offering from a fair to middling (at best) brewery. It certainly deserves to be tried fresh (if you can find a fresh Aviator).

Draught @ Beer Temple. Light hazy deep amber to red colour. Firm off white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's: resinous and piney hops, some toffee malts. Retronasal: resinous hops and sark malty sweetness. Flavour is bittersweet. Medium bodied. Firm bitter finish, but also light sweet. Decent DIPA.

Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is gluey malt, toffee, light fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a crisp, toffee malt, warm, burning chilli spice palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Draft at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours classic good with moderate white foam. Aroma is spiced but not excessive. Body is average, like carbonation. The sickness is extreme for such a light beer. Very invasive. Taste is moderately sweet at first. Then it's all spicy until eternity. Way too much!

On tap at Jopen, brewpub, Haarlem, Netherlands on the industrial estate to the east of town. Had this Friday 28th September 2018 Pours light to mid gold with a white head. A bit too much banana, there is some toffeeness as well. Yeast shows, it's okay but Lozs beer (Blame it on the Monks) wins out. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.4
