Cask @ White Lion, Heptonstall. Blonde with a small head. Has plenty of winter spices including cinnamon, and certainly almond which is prevalent throughout. It does feel a touch heavy in the palate.

Tap. Brewdog, Sheffield. Dark brown. Thick, glossy topped, tan head. Dark chocolate. Dark, vine fruits. Some nuttiness. Taste is vinous, cocoa dry, with a roast bitterness at the back. Fairly smooth. Moderate body at this ABV. Finishes slightly tart, light dry, and lengthy, roast bitter. Good stuff.

Tap. Brewdog, Sheffield. Thick as a bag, cloudy orange. Big, rocky, off white head. Toffee malts. Some citric, zesty hop. Not a big aroma. Mabe some breadiness. Taste is soft, pithy bitter. Some sweetness on the lips. Crisp, fresh, dry palate. Finishes zesty bitter. Decent, but lacking a bit of hoppy punch, maybe.

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - gentle orange and pine. Taste - more oranges and some hop resin again going into pine. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a touch too bitter for me but good.
