Cask at the Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light hop, light malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big zesty citrus grassy hop, light toothpaste bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Easy drinking and nicely balanced.

Keg at Hand Drawn Monkey, Huddersfield ,Friday 20th February 2015 A rather unappealing puddle brown with an off white head. A bit of chips (strangely) and then citrus on nose. Quite a potent beer but easy drinking, thick in mouth, a little syrupy, malty and citrussy with a little boozy finish. A6 A2 T8 P4 Ov14 3.4

Cask @ Record Cafe, Bradford. Golden with a thinnish white head. It mainly has a malty bitterness but there’s just a hint of fruit showing and is very crisp.

Gravity cask at Elysian Beer Festival 2015. Dark brown, very translucent. Decent beige head which quickly dissipates. Aroma of cherries and a bit of chocolate. Yes, very Black Forest gâteau indeed. Tastes surprisingly bitter. Cherry throughout. Tart bitter aftertaste. Thin body. Not bad really.
