Bottle. Little Leeds Beer House, Leeds. Hazy amber. Film, and a few bubbles of white. Robust, fruity, toffee malts. Dank, stewed hops. (Which is meant as a compliment). Orange marmalade thing to it. Bit of tinned strawberry. All in all, thick, and fruity. Drinks slick, thick, and fruity. Very drinkable, but the fact I’m drinking this five months after bottling is apparent. Still a fine beer, from two quality brewers.

Gravity poured half-pint on 18th April 2015 at the Stourbridge CAMRA Beer Festival. Red hue to the amber body, creamy suds on top. Dry tasting and hoppy with some tropical fruit esters hanging around as well. Rye and a few hop varieties blend together well, could have done without the citrus feel towards the finish though.

Cask @ Hand Drawn Monkey Beer Shop, Huddersfield. Dark brown with a thin creamy off-white head. Has a bushy-floral nose with only hint of roasted malt. It’s not strong tasting but this is pretty much expected beforehand.

Cask. Mr. Foleys, Leeds. Hazy copper. Lacy, off white head. Spicy orange marmade. Tropical fruit hops. Taste is fresh, punchy bitter. Smooth palate. Finishes long, spicy bitter. Nice one.

Cask. North Bar, Leeds. Cloudy amber. Thick, lasting, white head. Boozy Weetabix! Flora. Light herb. Light spice. Banana toffee. Fudge. Lots going on. Taste is fruity sweet. Light acidity. Palate is full, chewy sweet. Finishes a little tart. There’s a good beer in here somewhere, but the condition of this isn’t right. Shame.

Keg @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Hazy amber-brown with a small head. You can tell straight away this is an unfiltered beer from both aroma and taste. There’s a malty undercurrent to it, but there’s fruit here too. Crisp and not as strong tasting as it might suggest.
